Dr. Ashley Fiorilli holds a doctorate degree in International Psychology. Her dissertation examined the experiences of South African caregivers raising a child with autism, within a cultural psychology framework. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has experience as an implementer and consultant.
Dr. Fiorilli’s Master of Science degree emphasized counseling and Applied Behavior Analysis. Her Bachelor of Science degree focused on cultural perceptions and risk taking behaviors, building the foundation for an interest in social expectations and behaviors. Her background includes: case management for infants and toddlers with visual impairments and a Deaf and Hard of Hearing diagnosis, providing behavior consultation services for populations with intellectual disabilities and other behavior disorders, managing social group interventions, and instructing Masters level students in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Dr. Fiorilli has provided ABA treatment, mainly to individuals with Autism, since 2007. In 2013, she joined ABC, Inc and held positions as a Behavior Consultant and a Senior Behavior Consultant, prior to becoming a Program Manager. As a Program Manager, she provides training and oversight to staff and parents on a wide variety of ABA topics, including: functional communication, verbal behavior, lesson development, and behavior intervention plans. Dr. Fiorilli has provided consultation in homes, schools, and residential care homes. She has provided consultation and oversight for ABC, Inc. internationally. She has presented at both state and national conferences. She is a member of California's Association for Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis International.
