ABC, Inc is an
Applied Behavior Analysis firm dedicated to providing the most up to date,
empirically sound, interventions to individuals with Developmental
Disabilities. All of our staff receive extensive training and support
working as part of a team with regularly scheduled supervision and
continuing education. Salaries are competitive and all positions
include a generous benefits package. Various positions may be available at
any given time but currently we are seeking teachers and technicians in our
Sacramento schools for children with autistic disorders.
Classroom
Teacher: Runs an ABA class for 10 autistic children with the assistance of
5 to 7 technicians and a lead behavior technician. A teaching
credential in special education (moderate to severe) is necessary -
Consideration will be made for a candidate nearing the completion of their
teaching credential in special education (moderate to severe). The teacher
is responsible for the functioning of the classroom, development of
individual student lessons, progression of lessons and the facilitation of
the student's transition to a less restrictive placement. The teacher also
monitors the training needs of the classroom technicians.
Behavior
Technician: Provides one-to-one
support to individual students in the classroom, implementing the child's
lessons, and managing all of the materials and supplies necessary to
implement lessons and activities. This position is for 30 to 35 hours
per week (depending on the classroom assignment). For more
