Woan Tian Chow, Director (Ontario)

Dr. Woan Tian Chow is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) since 2007 and has over 9 years of experience working with individuals with special needs of various age ranges. She earned her doctoral degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from Western Michigan University (WMU) under the supervision of Dr. Richard W. Malott. Since joining ABC, Inc. 

Dr. Chow has held consulting positions and supervisory functions to oversee the quality of ABA program development and implementation. Her experience ranges from conducting functional assessments, training on broad a broad spectrum of ABA topics including verbal behavior, the VB-MAPP, generalization, functional analysis and behavior problems, ABA treatment for Autism/ASD and clinically supervising behavior consultants who manage in-home, parent training, and school consultation programs. 

Prior to joining Applied Behavior Consultant, Inc. (ABC, Inc.), Dr. Chow worked at the Discrete Trial Preschool Classroom at Croyden Avenue School, a practicum site for WMU psychology students and serving positions including tutor, supervisor, and teaching assistant (shift manager). As a graduate instructor, Dr. Chow has experience in teaching the Basic and Advanced Principles of Behavior courses, and the Autism Practicum course. She is also an active member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International since 2005.
